Dan Herbeck has over 30 years of financial, technical, sales, marketing, and communication expertise, growing and expanding businesses in both the public and private sector. He founded and developed successful startup businesses and has a lengthy record of senior executive experience in publicly held firms.
Most recently, from 2011-2018, he has been Director of Merger and Acquisition Program Delivery at United Health Care/Optum. At Optum he has successfully led integration activities for over 45 acquired companies. Prior to Optum he was Owner and President of Continental Technology Solutions, LLC where he specialized in strategic and operational development, technology infrastructure, process control, and M/A activity. While head of Continental Technology Dan served as Interim CEO/ board member of Digitiliti, Inc. where he led a reverse merger of a B2B storage SAAS (Software as a Service)/STAAS (Storage as a Service) software manufacturer focused on providing information management technology to health care, financial services and government customers. He also served as interim CIO for Consulmed, S.A. – Mexico City, D.F. a Mexican health care insurer services information system where he facilitated development of healthcare modernization software.
From 1996 to 2002, he served in multiple roles at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray including CIO/CTO, Senior Technology Officer/Senior Operating Officer of the Equity Capital Markets, where he was responsible for management of technology for the $15.7 billion international investment banking and brokerage organization.
