John has over 35 years of operations, financial, strategy, risk/compliance, business management, people management, sales and strategic planning experience, with an emphasis on the financial sector.
Prior to AmpliFi, John spent over 22 years at U.S. Bank in a variety of roles including operations, chief administration officer, relationship manager, business manager, chief risk officer, continuous improvement executive, strategic planning and mergers/acquisition. Reporting to the vice chair of the wealth management & securities services division provided him many opportunities to lead or participate in many bank wide initiatives. For example, John led the 2016 Department of Labor Fiduciary Rule (Best Interest Standard) across the bank.
John’s 11 years at The Wyatt Company (now Willis Towers Watson) and a year at Northern Trust afforded him valuable experience in consulting and administration of benefits plans.
